Years 10-11 Tutor Curriculum

Year 10 – Students continue to embed their CORE values and develop as role models in school. During Year 10 Tutor Time Students also develop an understanding of effective revision strategies as they embark on their Key Stage 4 journey. Leadership opportunities in Year 10 include Sports and Careers Leaders. curriculum embeds students’ understanding of our key PSHE topics. Students will further develop and explore British Values, Gaming, Drugs, Crime and the effect on individuals and Mental Health and Wellbeing.

The sessions delivered in the tutor time curriculum each fortnight will be as follows:

Year 11 

Year 11 – Students continue to develop our CORE values and are role models within school as they approach their GCSE examinations. Leadership opportunities in Year 11 include the opportunity to mentor students in other year groups, along with College specific Leadership roles.

A key part of Year 11 tutor time is our DTTR programme (Diagnose, Therapy, Test, Revise) which includes targeted revision sessions in a range of academic areas as well as pastoral support programmes to support with preparation for exams.

Additionally, students continue to engage with PSHE curriculum themes such as Finance Management, staying safe, Gambling Addiction, Adult Health and Careers and the Future. International Schools projects, Digital Literacy and Numeracy and Finance.
