Students will study the Key Stage 3 Curriculum in Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9. Our Key Stage 3 curriculum gives students the opportunity to study a wide range of subjects, in order to ensure they have a broad foundation to their Secondary education which builds upon their Key Stage 2 knowledge.

All students have a teaching group which they do the majority of these lessons in.

For Maths and English they are based in ability groupings, which are based on data from primary school and baseline testing. Movement between these groups is reviewed each half term.

Over a fortnightly cycle of 50, one-hour lessons, students will experience the subjects below.

Tutor time also happens daily.

In Spring of Year 9 students will be guided through our Options process where they will make choices on the subjects they will study during Key Stage 4.
