Senior Caretaker

Grade E (SCP 5-6)
Permanent Contract, all year round
37 hours per week
Full-time, variable hours/shifts between 6:00 - 22:00 daily, including weekend working
Starting salary £23,500

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and reliable Senior Caretaker. You will join our friendly, experienced site team to manage caretaking services to all school buildings, ensuring a safe and secure environment. Our site is relatively new and in great condition.

We would love to hear from you if you have:
  • Practical/handyman skills necessary to undertake general building maintenance/repairs
  • The physical fitness to walk around the site and undertake manual handling  
  • The ability to follow instructions to requirements, organise and prioritise workload
  • Great communication skills, working well with all members of the school community and others through lettings
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently using your own initiative
  • Flexibility to support the team, as required, including shift work (06.00-22.00 hours and weekend working)
