Supporting Young Minds Hello Yellow Day on October 10

On Thursday 10 October, World Mental Health Day, students, and staff, participated in Hello Yellow, supporting YoungMinds.

Sixth Form students sported yellow in support to raise awareness and funds for this important cause.

With coverage of our focus on World Mental Health Day in Tutor Time and exploration of Mental Health in assembly, students also discussed ways to support their wellbeing as well as that of others. This is part of our ongoing commitment in Tutor Time and the PSHE Programme - which is all geared up to ensuring students know how to look after themselves as well as friends or family.

Donations from wearing a yellow accessory, a cake sale during break time, along with being able to donate via a dedicated ParentPay page we raised over £800 for Young Minds.  Additionally, donations could also be made by card direct to Young Minds.

Further information can also be found in the Mental Health section on our website.
Additionally, YoungMinds provides valuable resources for parents and carers who may be concerned about a young person’s mental health. These can be accessed via their website at Young Minds Website Parent Section
