Success at Town Championship Athletics for Year 9 & 10 and a 38 year old record broken
Our Year 9 and Year 10 athletes had a successful afternoon competing at the Town Championship Athletics event at Edmonscote Athletics track last week with a number of impressive performances; 11 of our students placed in the top 3 in their event.
Well done to the seven students won their events:
Max R in the 200m
George O in the 300m
Chloe S in the Shot Putt
Joe C in the 400m
Lucy M, Jacob S and Archie L all won their respective 1500m events.
A special mention must go to Archie who recorded the fastest 1500m time ever at the Town Champs, beating the previous record which has stood for 38 years!
Congratulations to all the students that represented NLS and good luck to those who will now go on to represent Central Warwickshire at the County Champs next month.
