NLS staff and students have been preparing for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations this week. As part of tutor time, students have engaged in sessions and quizzes to learn more about our monarchy. We launched a competition for the best decorated tutor classroom.

We are going to announce the winning tutor group, and their exciting prize, after half-term. 

Great Jubilee Bake Off

Our Great Jubilee Bake Off took place on Friday 27 May. We were so pleased to have over 60 entries from students in all year groups and staff. All students who entered, and showed real commitment to our school community, will receive R3s. There was a real buzz in the courtyard at break time when these cakes were then sold to raise money for The Prince’s Trust. We are so proud that our students have raised over £320 for a fantastic charity!

Thank you to all of our parents/carers who have supported their child in engaging with this. It was really hard for the judges to choose the winning entries and were genuinely so impressed with the baking skills of our NLS students.
