Ofsted information
North Leamington School continues to be ‘a good school’ according to Ofsted
In 2019 our Section 8 inspection concluded that we continue to be ‘a good school’. We are very proud of the summative points raised in the report and pleased that there is nothing in the report that we were not already aware of which supports our current focus. It is great to see that Ofsted highlighted points that we as a school proudly promote as part of our overall ethos and vision.
The rigorous Ofsted process highlighted numerous achievements of our students, staff and parents/carers and we are very proud to be able to share some of these with you.
- "Pupils are happy at this school”
- "Behaviour is good in lessons and at break and lunchtimes”
- “Pupils are kind to one another and support each other with their work”
- “Older pupils act as positive role models to their younger peers“
- "Pupils speak with pride and enthusiasm about their learning”
- “Leaders have a clear vision and rationale for the curriculum at the school”
- “Pupils are supported to achieve aspirational targets and frequently do so”
- “Teachers have strong subject knowledge and share their enthusiasm with students”
- “Students achieve well. They contribute well to school and the wider community”
- “Students are well prepared for their next stages in life. Almost all of them move on to positive destinations”
The inspector also confirmed that feedback from staff, students and parents/carers was overwhelmingly positive. We would personally like to thank everyone in our school community for their support given in response to the survey, but also for the support that we continually give to each other as a whole school community allowing us to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
Thank you again.
