Year 12 & 13 Careers Fair
On Friday 18 October Year 12 & 13 students enjoyed a post-18 careers event at NLS arranged by Mrs O’Donnell our Careers Co-ordinator and Mrs Barley-Morey our CEIAG lead.
Representatives from a host of local companies, including Wright Hassall, Aston Martin, and Warwickshire District and County Council joined us for the day and our students were able to talk to them in small groups to learn about the range of opportunities that are available within these sectors.
Universities including Warwick, Lancaster and Birmingham in addition to apprenticeship providers such as the Army, National Grid and the NHS were also available to give advice to students on Higher Education and training opportunities.
This was our largest event to date and we are so grateful to all those business and education providers who supported us on the day. The student's feedback included "Brilliant opportunity to speak with universities and employers" and "Strong range of career paths, great for post 18 options" which showed they really enjoyed the event which will help guide them in making informed decisions going forward in relation to their post-18 career journey.
