There were three days of adventurous activities including assault courses, team games, the zip wire, sailing and kayaking. Each activity session was designed to build confidence, communication, teamwork, leadership, and certainly pushed students out of their comfort zone. In addition students developed their social skills, all whilst having lots of fun! Thankfully the weather was kind to us for the weekend allowing many to brave quick dip in the lake!

The student’s behaviour throughout the weekend was outstanding particularly when faced with the range of activities and the emotional resilience need to manage the tiredness that ensued. Staff members at the centre commented on our student’s politeness and maturity throughout the trip which is always lovely to hear.

All in all a fantastic weekend was had by all.
